Reno Day 3 nose art and other items

Nose art is a decorative painting or design on the fuselage of a military aircraft, usually located near the nose, and is a form of aircraft graffiti.
It’s always fun when you get to concentrate on some of the other activities surrounding the air races. We took a break today (almost) and made the sunrise excursion a trip down memory lane. Lots of WWII aircraft here and all have interesting nose are.
Of course when that beautiful F18F Growler is just sitting there as the sun comes up – it’s hard to resist.

And then there were the Snowbirds from Canada – also hard to resist.

But then onto the Nose Art. A real chance to add to the nose art collection.

For those that have visited my facebook page – Lady Jo is the nose art on the P51 Mustang that was providing me the ride of a lifetime.

Very cold this morning again – hot coffee and donuts welcome you back to the press center after the sunrise shooting.

This could be part of the reason that most of us are overweight.
